Registration is open for the fourth annual Lincoln County economic summit Thursday, March 12 presented by the Economic Development Alliance of Lincoln County.
The event will showcase an array of speakers providing data, resources and insight into the challenges and opportunities related to the region’s economic prosperity. The theme of this year’s Economic Summit is “Partnership, Opportunity & Persistence.”
Schuytema“The 2026 Lincoln County Economic Summit is all about our shared journey,” said alliance executive director Paul Schuytema. “We come together — business leaders, community leaders and elected officials — to learn, to network and to plot an optimistic and realistic economic course forward.”
There will be three panel discussions focused on collaboration and economic resilience. One panel will highlight how partnerships, particularly within the nonprofit sector, can lead to both opportunities and creative solutions for new challenges. The program will also spotlight local entrepreneurship and small business growth, as well as examine the key pillars of the economy — housing, education, healthcare and childcare.
The event’s keynote speaker is Cara Turano, executive director of Oregon Entrepreneurs Network. The network works in Oregon and southwest Washington to provide education, resources, financial opportunities, and support for entrepreneurs.
The summit will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Spyglass Restaurant at the Inn at Otter Crest. Registration for the event, lunch included, is $50. Rregistion is through Eventbrite here.
