I do not want an elected leader who:
• Treats those who disagree as enemies;
• Gaslights the public;
• Retaliates against criticism;
• Uses name-calling as a political strategy;
• Wastes our money on baseless investigations;
• Disrespects an independent criminal justice system;
• Uses public funds to exile dissidents;
• Arbitrarily ends and exits meetings;
• Limits public comment;
• Doesn’t listen and doesn’t care; and
• Calls me MAGA when I sign a recall petition.

Alice: You exactly express my position and sentiments. I have been a registered Democrat and am insulted by the manipulative campaign tactic that Hall promotes. Such a shock when I saw that political postcard in my mail.
A recent mailer/postcard paid for by the Friends of Claire Hall committee links the recall to ICE activities around Lincoln County and a “MAGA takeover.” And it also includes a quote from Jan Kaplan, mayor of Newport, that the recall is about “politics driven by gossip and infighting.” This type of political ad is an insult to voters.
