Alex Llumiquinga, founder of the Arcoiris Cultural Center, will discuss issues facing Lincoln County’s Latinx communities, the services that his organization provides in the areas of health care, cultural activities and food distribution, and the contributions made by Latinx and indigenous Mesoamerican communities at the monthly Lincoln County Democrats meeting, 5:30 pm on Wednesday, August 27. The meeting will take place at Newport Public Library in the McIntee Room, 35 NW Nye Street. Doors will open for socializing at 5:00 pm. Meeting begins at 5:30 pm, ends at 6:45 pm.
