YachatsNews is taking a short, week-long break from reporting and posting stories.
We made it through the local July 3-4 celebrations, lots of government meetings, breaking news and now feel the need for a little rest and relaxation ourselves.
It’s been busy. We posted 612 stories during the first six months of the year which generated 972,000 page views during that span. On top of that, YachatsNews just completed a local fundraising campaign — and there will be a story on that Tuesday.
So, unless there’s some big, dramatic story, the staff, freelance writers and editors won’t be writing or posting any stories this week except for the bi-weekly history feature and the weekly entertainment news from news partner Oregon Coast TODAY.
We’ll return to chase stories and provide local news of the community on Sunday, July 14. Have a good week – we will!
