I’m seeking your ideas and comments during this very unusual time. We’ve had 2-3 weeks of near constant local and state coverage of the coronavirus outbreak and it won’t stop. But I’m trying to look ahead to the upcoming weeks and seeking:

Your ideas (beyond the obvious breaking news) of stories that 1-2 reporters can do to more deeply cover the effect of this outbreak on the Yachats area and the south central Oregon coast. What do you want to know more about locally?
Please tell your personal story. If you are working, tell us how you are being affected. If you are a business owner, what has this meant? If you have been laid off, tell us about that and what it means for you and your family. If you are able to volunteer or contribute to the community in some fashion, tell us about that.
And, how seriously are you taking the “social distancing” or “shelter in place” advice? Is that practical in your life? If so, how are you using your time?
