A 25-year-old Toledo man has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison after pleading guilty to a variety of sex crimes involving children.

Lincoln County Circuit Judge Amanda Benjamin sentenced Grant L. Goodell on Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to four felony child sex offenses that occurred while he was living in Siletz in 2023.
Goodell admitted engaging in sexual conversations with a minor on SnapChat and induced the victim to create and send photographs engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Goodell also admitted to engaging in a sexual act with the minor and possessing child pornography.
Goodell was sentenced to 86 months in prison, followed by three years of post-prison supervision and be required to register as a sex offender.
In August, Goodell was convicted in Benton County circuit court of similar charges involving two additional minors in 2023 and sentenced to nearly six years in prison. A portion of the Benton County sentence will run concurrently with his sentence in Lincoln County, for a total prison sentence of approximately 10 years, according to the Lincoln County district attorney’s office.
