WALDPORT – The Port of Alsea has implemented new online tools that allow boaters to book marina reservations and purchase annual launch passes directly through the port’s website. The upgrade gives users 24/7 access while reducing the need for in-person visits and easing congestion at the port office.
New online capabilities and amenities:
- Instant marina reservations: Real‑time availability for 20‑foot and 25‑foot slips with daily, weekly, or monthly options.
- Digital annual launch passes: Easy online purchase of annual decals for both port district residents and out‑of‑district users.
- Dedicated boat trailer parking: A designated trailer parking lot supports visitors staying at short‑term rentals or local lodging where trailers cannot be stored.
- Simplified payments: Secure online processing for all moorage, and launch fees.
The port serves the Waldport, Yachats and Tidewater areas by providing access to Alsea Bay through its marina, public launch and crabbing docks. The port also operates the Dock of the Bay store, which offers boat rentals, bait and crabbing supplies.
