Narrative Summary
E-crash: A silver Infiniti sedan was negotiating a curve on Highway 180 westbound near milepost 9.5. For an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway and collided with the hillside on the north side of the highway, where it came to an uncontrolled rest. The driver and sole occupant was described as hitting his head and not being able to complete sentences. Upon my arrival, the driver had been transported to the hospital by his wife. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Coast Towing due to it partially blocking a lane and being a hazard. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

Narrative Summary
E-crash: A vehicle struck a deer while heading westbound on Highway 34, near milepost 26. A passerby stopped to see if the driver was okay, and was subsequently the one to contact law enforcement due to a lack of cell service at the crash scene. Due to being on another crash on Highway 180, I arrived late to the scene of this crash. The driver was no longer with the vehicle, and it was partially blocking the westbound lane. I arranged for the vehicle to be towed by Coast Towing out of Newport.

Narrative Summary
On 9/28/21 at approximately 8:45 am I was dispatched to a rollover crash which occurred on US 20 near mile post 8. Unit #1, a silver Dodge Ram pickup (146KYF), was westbound towing a 10 foot box trailer when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle drove off the westbound shoulder. The vehicle continued up an earthen embankment until it rolled over, causing the trailer to rollover and come detached. The trailer was damaged and partially opened so that numerous green marijuana stalks could be seen along with jars of harvested marijuana bud. After observing sign of impairment the driver consented to SFST’s and performed poorly. He was taken into custody and transported to Lincoln County Jail where he consented to a breath and urine test. The driver was cited for DUII, Reckless Driving and Criminal Mischief II. He was remanded to the custody of Lincoln County Parole and Probation for the purpose of investigation of parole violations.
