Narrative Summary
On 8/21/20 at approximately 2PM a driver left the roadway and drove through a road sign near milepost 122 of US Highway 101. The road sign struck the vehicle windshield. The windshield and lower bumper sustained minor damage. Driver drove the vehicle home. Driver reported to me she swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle in her lane of travel. ODOT assisted at the scene.

Narrative Summary
On 8/21/20 at approximately 5PM I responded to a two vehicle crash at milepost 127 of US Highway 101 in Depoe Bay. Vehicle 1 a black Inifiniti turned left in front of an oncoming northbound vehicle 2 a white Ford van. The van collided with vehicle 1 and the vehicles came to rest facing northwest in the southbound lane and shoulder. The three occupants of vehicle 1 were not injured. The driver of vehicle 2 was transported to the hospital by ambulance but did not get admitted to the emergency room for unknown reasons. The driver’s identity was learned while I was enroute to the hospital to follow up. Driver was driving DWS felony and showed numerous signs of impairment. Driver was located and taken into custody. Driver refused to perform field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample. Blood draw warrant was signed by a judge and blood draw was performed by Pac West paramedics. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Depoe Bay Fire assisted at the scene of the crash. Vehicles were towed by Car Care. Driver of vehicle 2 was cited and released for felony DWS and DUII alcohol. Lincoln County Jail refused lodging due to Covid19 pandemic.

**E-Crash Only** The Oregon State Police responded to a three vehicle crash near milepost 2 on Highway 20, Lincoln County, Oregon. A silver Toyota Tundra was unable to stop in the wet conditions and rear ended a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Grand Cherokee was forced into a silver Honda CRV which was stopped while attempting to turn left off of Highway 20. No injuries were reported on scene and all vehicle were driven from the scene.

Narrative Summary
The Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle crash near milepost 127 on Highway 101, Lincoln County, Oregon. Upon arrival the operator of the vehicle display several signs of impairment and admitted to feeling impaired. The subject consented to perform voluntary field sobriety tests ad performed poorly on those test. The subject was transported to the Lincoln County were they consent to provide a breath sample. The results of that sample revealed a BAC of .15% The subject was issued criminal citations for DUII – Alcohol and released in lieu of custody.

The Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle rollover crash near milepost 20 on Highway 34, Lincoln County, Oregon. A gold Suzuki SUV was travelling westbound when for an unknown reason it left its lane of travel, struck the embankment and rolled over. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Good Samaritan hospital in Corvallis via Life Flight. The vehicle was towed by Rowley’s Towing. The investigation is still open.

On 7/15/2020 at approximately 4:32pm, a subject was captured by remote trail camera trespassing on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) while in possession of a firearm on Hancock Forest Management property off of Highway 20 near Trapp Creek. Hancock Forest Management does not allow ATV use on their property and the area was clearly marked by signage indicating the area is owned and managed by Hancock Forest Management and any motorized vehicle use is prohibited. The subject is also lifetime trespassed from any property owned or managed by Hancock Forest Management. On 8/22/2020, an OSP Fish and Wildlife Trooper contacted the subject at his residence in Toledo and issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody for the listed charge.
