Narrative Summary
On 2/6/20 at approximately 6PM I stopped a vehicle for a lighting equipment violation near Westler Drive in Gleneden Beach. Driver and registered owner of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant in Lincoln County for DUI probation violation. Driver was detained, warrant confirmed, driver arrested and transported to Lincoln County Jail. Vehicle and dog inside the vehicle were attended to by arrested party’s relative.

***eCrash Report***On 02/07/2020 at approximately 16:29 PM, Unit #1 a blue 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier was eastbound on SR 18 near milepost 6. The driver did not see Unit #2, a white 2005 Dodge Durango stopping ahead of it for traffic turning into the Salmon River RV Park. Unit #1 struck the rear of Unit #2. Unit #1 sustained heavy front end damage but both vehicles were able to move off the roadway onto a nearby driveway. Unit #2 sustained minor rear end damage. During the investigation, the operator of Unit #1 was issued citations for DWS- Violation, Driving Uninsured, and Failure to Register the vehicle. Unit #1 was impounded and towed from the scene by Car Care Tow Pro. Unit #2 was able to drive from the scene under its own power.

**eCrash Report** On 02/08/2020 at approximately 14:20 PM, Unit #1, a white 2006 Toyota Scion sedan was stopped at NE Neotsu Drive waiting to turn southbound onto US Highway 101. The drive of Unit #2 failed to yield at the stop sign and struck Unit #2, a gold 2002 Lexus sedan that was driving northbound on US Highway 101. The driver of Unit #1, then reversed out of highway and rear-ended Unit #3, a red 2019 Hyundai Elantra that had originally been behind Unit #1 on NE Neotsu Drive. No injuries were reported and all the involved parties were wearing seatbelts. The vehicles were all drivable and stopped in the Neotsu Post Office parking lot. The operator of Unit #1 was issued a citation for Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device-stop sign.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A Silver Toyota Tacoma was being driven northbound when the driver swerved to avoid a pedestrian improperly positioned in the road. The Tacoma’s right front end sustained significant damage where it needed to be towed from the scene. The improperly positioned male had apparently jumped into the Salmon River over the bridge and swam out. The pedestrian was transported to North Lincoln Samaritan Hospital for treatment. The Tacoma did not contact the pedestrian. The pedestrian was issued a citation for improper positioning. The vehicle was towed by Car Care Towing as a non-preference tow.
