E-Crash: A single Mitsubishi SUV was being driven southbound on US-101 and was near milepost 148.5 when the driver went towards the shoulder and rolled the vehicle. The driver and passenger were given a courtesy ride towards Waldport. The vehicle was towed by Coast Towing.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A Ram 2500 with 5th wheel travel trailer were being driven southbound down Cascade Head on US-101 near milepost 103.3 the driver began to fall asleep and began going off the roadway onto the shoulder. The Ram and trailer overturned. The driver, passenger, and dog were unharmed. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office provided a courtesy transport into Lincoln City. Misher Towing was dispatched for the removal of the Ram and trailer. The driver was issued a citation for failing to drive in his lane.

Narrative Summary
On 9/20/21 at approximately 9:51PM a southbound unit 1 white Kia Soul crossed the centerline near milepost 155 of US Highway 101 and collided with a northbound unit 2 silver Volkswagen Jetta. The Kia rotated and came to an uncontrolled rest facing west on the centerline. The Kia suffered heavy front end damage. The Volkswagen rotated and slid in the northbound ditch. The Volkswagen came to rest facing south. Driver of unit 2 suffered a laceration on her arm. Driver of unit 1 exhibited signs of impairment. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office placed the driver into custody and wrote a search warrant to seize blood as evidence. ODOT and Central Coast Fire assisted at the scene.
