Narrative Summary
**eCrash Report** On 11/20/20 at approximately 10:46 PM, Unit #1, a white 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, was southbound on SR-229 near milepost 7.5. The driver was distracted by scenery and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle drove off the northbound shoulder and up a small embankment before tipping onto its passenger side. No injuries were sustained, and both occupants were wearing seatbelts. No tow companies in the area were able to respond to the scene at that time. The vehicle was off the roadway and secured. OSP provided a courtesy transport to the occupants to Lincoln City where they worked on making their own arrangements for towing of the vehicle. OSP was assisted at the scene by ODOT Incident Response.

On 11/1/2020 a subject was photographed trespassing while hunting on posted private property off of Logsden Road in Siletz. The landowner provided remote trail camera photographs of the subject carrying a hunting rifle while trespassing. The subject was contacted at his residence in Eugene and was issued a citation for the listed charge.

Narrative Summary
**eCrash Report** On 11/21/2020 at approximately 00:23 AM, Unit #1 a black, 2010 Ford Flex was southbound on US Highway 101 near milepost 165.5. The vehicle drove out of the southbound lane and struck a sign post before continuing south and striking a guardrail end along the western side of the roadway. The vehicle then continued down and embankment and came to an uncontrolled rest after impacting several trees. Multiple airbags deployed inside the vehicle, and its emergency crash notification system notified 911. The driver and sole occupant climbed out of the vehicle and departed the scene on foot prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. The driver was located at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport at approximately 10:45 AM. The driver had sustained minor injuries and had arrived at the hospital in a privately owned vehicle a short time prior. The driver reported falling asleep prior to the crash. During the investigation it was determined that the vehicle did not have current liability insurance. The driver was issued citations for Careless Driving and Driving Uninsured, and will be making arrangements for the removal of the vehicle.

Narrative Summary
On 11/22/2020 a landowner observed hunters trespassing on his posted private property shooting at elk. The landowner contacted an OSP Fish and Wildlife Trooper who arrived and contacted two subjects who stated they had been hunting in the area and had killed a cow elk. The subjects believed they were permitted to harvest cow elk with a PDP Permit during the General Elk season. During the investigation the subjects had killed a cow elk and potentially struck a spike bull and calf elk, but have not yet been found. During the investigation, the hunters who had been hunting on a different property earlier in the day had also been trespassing on a separate posted private property. The cow elk was recovered and will be later donated to charity. The two hunters were issued citations for the listed charges. Fish and Wildlife Troopers will attempt to locate the wounded elk in the near future.
