On 4/5/2022 the driver of a black Dodge Dart was traveling East on SR-18 when at around milepost 13 lost control of their vehicle while negotiating a curve. Unit1 rolled over onto its top and blocked the eastbound lane. The driver had visible injuries and refused medical treatment. The passenger refused medical treatment. Car Care towing was able to tow the vehicle from the scene. The driver was warned for careless driving and cited for driving uninsured and no operator’s license. The passenger was revealed to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Yamhill County. The passenger was arrested and transported by Grande Ronde Tribal Police to Yamhill County where they were to be lodged.

While on patrol on Schooner Creek Road in Lincoln County, I observed a lot of debris near the bank of the creek consisting of broken clay pigeons, spent rifle shells, ammo packages, and other shooting related items. Some of the items were in the water at the edge of Schooner Creek. There are no suspects at this time. I cleaned the area up and took most of the debris with me, and disposed of it appropriately. Motorcyclist suffered a broken leg and was life flighted to Corvallis Good Samaritan Hospital. Rider driving privileges were suspended felony level. Dump truck operator reported no injuries. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Toledo Police and Toledo Fire assisted at the scene. Rowley’s Towing removed the motorcycle.
