Narrative Summary
The Oregon State Police were called on July 23, 2021 from a driver who was reporting a crash from July 8, 2021. The driver of a red RAM 2500 reported he was eastbound on SR-18 near milepost 0.5 in slow traffic for construction. The driver reported he was stopped when a silver Mercedes 350 had crashed into the rear of him. He exchanged information with the other driver but the other driver said he did not have insurance and would work with him. He got two estimates to repair the damage to his Ram 2500 which were both over $3000. The uninsured driver of the Mercedes was saying he was suspended and could not pay the amount. The driver of the Mercedes was found to have been driving while suspended misdemeanor at the time of the crash. The information will be sent to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office.

A passerby called the Oregon State Police as he had seen two broken windows on a parked Subaru Outback in the Forgery Creek State Park south side. Police responded and took a report. Narrative Summary
E-Crash: The Oregon State Police were notified that an eastbound traveling semi-truck and trailer had struck guardrail and gone off the road near milepost 10 on US-20 as it climbed the hill. The driver was alone and uninjured. The company (Wilson Logistics) arranged a tow for the removal of the truck and trailer. ODOT Incident response, Toledo Fire and Rescue, and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assisted on-scene. Truck form has been submitted to ODOT.
