Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A green 2001 Dodge Dakota was being driven southbound on US-101 near NW Art Street in Seal Rock (MP 150.8) where the vehicle had gone off into the southbound ditch crashing head-on into a tree. The driver said he began to lose steering. The vehicle was towed by Rowley’s Towing. The driver’s brother had picked him up.

Narrative Summary
On 07/23/2020 at approximately 08:45 AM, Unit #1, a maroon 2011 Ford Fiesta was attempting to turn southbound on US Highway 101 from the Cherry Hill Mobile Home Park. Unit #2 was northbound on US Highway 101, when Unit #1 turned across the northbound lane and struck the passenger side of Unit #2. Unit #2 spun clockwise in the northbound lane and came to an uncontrolled rest partially blocking that lane. Unit #1 came to a controlled rest along the western shoulder of the intersection. No injuries were reported and all parties were wearing seatbelts. OSP was assisted at the scene by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and ODOT Incident response. Unit #2 was able to drive from the scene. Unit #1 was towed from the scene by Car Care Tow Pro at the owner’s request. The operator of Unit #1 was issued a citation for failure to obey a traffic control device (stop sign.)
