Narrative Summary
e-crash only: Unit #1, a northbound 2005 Saturn Ion traveling in the right lane turned across the northbound left lane in front of Unit #2, a 1989 Oldsmobile Calais also traveling northbound. Unit #2 struck the left front quarter of Unit #1 pushing it into a parked 2015 GMC Yukon, Unit #3. The operator of Unit #1 was issued a citation for dangerous left turn. Units #1 & #2 were towed from the scene due to damage by Rowley’s Towing. OSP was assisted on scene by Depoe Bay Fire, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and ODOT.

Narrative Summary
On 7/21/21 at approximately 11:49 am I was dispatched to a three vehicle crash which occurred on SR 34 at the intersection of SE Nelson Wayside Dr. A gray Honda Civic (591JJD) and a tan Toyota Camry (YTY422) were stopped for traffic in the westbound lane when the Toyota Camry was rear-ended by a red Toyota Tacoma (375KBV) and the pushed into the rear of the Honda Civic. The Honda Civic was pushed off the westbound shoulder while the Toyota Camry was left blocking the westbound lane. The Toyota Tacoma came to an uncontrolled rest on the eastbound shoulder. The driver of the Toyota Tacoma and the driver of the Toyota Camry were transported to Pacific Communities Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the crash. A hospital blood draw showed the driver of the Toyota Tacoma had a BAC of .223%. This driver was cited and released on charges of DUII – Alcohol, Reckless Driving, two counts of Recklessly Endangering a Person and two counts of Criminal Mischief II.
