Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A grey 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck was southbound on US-101 and had lost control and went off into the southbound ditch hitting a tree. The vehicle overturned and the driver fled. The driver was reported to have gotten into a white Toyota Corolla which then drove off southbound. The driver was unable to be located. The vehicle was removed by Rowley’s Towing. No additional information is available at this time. The attached driver called on 7/18/20 and said he was the driver and did not remember what had happened only he had woken up in the woods.

On 7/17/2020 at about 10:45pm, a subject was observed angling from the Embarcadero docks and when contacted shortly afterwards it was determined he did not have a valid angling license. The subject had retained three marine rockfish. The rockfish were alive and were returned to the bay unharmed. The subjects fishing pole was seized as evidence and the subject was cited for the listed charge.

On 7/18/2020 a concerned citizen discovered a set of keys on the beach at Fogarty Creek State Park and contacted OSP NCC Dispatch to report the found property. An OSP Fish and Wildlife Trooper met the citizen on the beach and took possession of the keys for safekeeping. The Trooper and an Oregon State Parks Ranger was contacted a short time later by another subject claiming to have lost their keys somewhere on the beach at Fogarty Creek State Park. The subject was met by the Trooper and the keys were returned to the subject.

Narrative Summary
(ecrash) On 7/19/20 at approximately 9:30 pm I responded to a single vehicle, rollover crash which occurred on SR 34 near mile post 2. Unit #1, a white Honda Civic, was eastbound when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle drove off the eastbound shoulder. Unit #1 flipped end over end and came to an uncontrolled rest partially blocking the eastbound lane. The driver was cited for Violation of the Basic Speed Rule, Driving While Suspended and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Responsibility. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Rowley’s Towing.
