eCrash – On 12/10/19 at approximately 330PM a southbound vehicle unit 1 (Honda) was in the B lane and made a U-turn in Depoe Bay. Unit 2 (Ford) was also southbound in the A lane. Unit 2 collided with unit 1. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and air bags deployed on unit 1. Driver of unit 1 was issued a citation for illegal u-turn causing a crash. No injuries were reported at the scene. Depoe Bay FIre and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene. Owners arranged for their own tows.

Narrative Summary
On 12/10/19 at approximately 8:53 pm I stopped white Chevy van (Montana 627211B) on US 101 near mile post 124 after observing the vehicle drive over the center median. Upon contact the driver exhibited signs of impairment and smelled strongly of alcohol. She consented to and performed poorly on SFST’s. The driver was taken into custody and transported to Lincoln County Jail where she consented to a breath test rendering a result of .19% BAC. The driver was cited and released on charges of DUII and Reckless Driving. The vehicle was released from the scene to a sober third party driver.

On 12/10/19 at approximately 11:33 pm I was contacted by a male in the parking lot of the Lincoln County Courthouse inquiring about the hours of operation. It was determined the male was the subject of an arrest warant (WNO 19CR69289) issued by Lincoln County Circuit Court on 12/4/19 for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Harassing Communications. The warrant was confirmed and Lincoln County Jail authorized the subject to be cited and released.
