Narrative Summary
(ecrash) On 4/19/21 I was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on US 20 near mile post 28 involving a tan Buick Century (818ACJ). The vehicle was westbound on US 20 when, for an unknown reason, it drove off the westbound shoulder and struck several small tree before it came to an uncontrolled rest on the roadside. The elderly female driver was confused and disoriented, but not injured. She stated fatigue was a contributing factor in the crash. The driver was transported to Pacific Communities Hospital for evaluation. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Coast Towing.

Narrative Summary
On 4/19/21 at approximately 9:50 pm I conducted a traffic stop on US 101 near mile post 138 with a silver Nissan displaying an expired temporary tag. During contact with the driver I observed she exhibited numerous signs of impairment. The driver consented to and performed poorly on SFST’s. She admitted to recently using methamphetamine. The driver was taken into custody for DUII and she consented to provide a urine sample. The driver was cited and released for DUII and cited additionally for Fail to Register a Vehicle, No Operator’s License and, No Insurance.
