On 4/15/21 at approximately 920AM I contacted a subject near milepost 140 of US Highway 101. Subject had been swerving slightly in his lane. Subjected was contacted and determined to be driving suspended misdemeanor level. Subjected had outstanding warrants in Albany and Philomath, Oregon. Subject was cited and released for DWS Misdemeanor and the warrants. Vehicle towed by Coast Towing.

eCrash – On 04/17/21 at approximately 2:20pm a southbound Toyota Rav 4 left the roadway for an unknown reason, crashed and rolled on the southbound shoulder near mile post 150 of US HWY 101. Female driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and ODOT assisted at the scene. Coast Towing removed the vehicle. Pac West ambulance transported the patient.

On 4/17/21 at approximately 11AM a beachgoer located a cell phone near Seal Rock State Park. The citizen gave the phone to a Pac West employee. Pac West turned the phone over to Oregon State Police where it was logged into safekeeping.

Narrative Summary
On 4/18/21 at approximately 6:18 pm I conducted a traffic stop with a white Ford F250 (Nevada 951K30) on US 101 near mile post 148 after observing the vehicle unable to maintain its lane or speed. Upon contact the driver exhibited numerous signs of impairment. He consented to SFST’s and performed poorly. He admitted to taking several prescription medications and admitted he did not feel safe to drive. The driver was taken into custody for DUII. During a pat down the driver was found to be in possession of cannabis and cannabis paraphernalia. He admitted to recently using cannabis. The driver was transported to Lincoln County Jail where he consented to a breath test rendering a result of 0.00% BAC. The driver consented to provide a urine sample. The driver was cited and released on charges of DUII – Controlled Substances and Reckless Driving.
