Narrative Summary
(ecrash) On 4/14/22 at approximately 2:09 pm I investigated a single vehicle crash which occurred on US 10 near mile post 18. A green Ford Mustang (9S7094) was westbound on US 20 and there was a thick layer of hail on the highway. The Mustang lost control and crashed head-on into the westbound guardrail. The driver was not injured and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

E-CRASH: On 4/18/2022 the driver of Unit1 (Red 199 Infiniti G20) lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a ditch while negotiating a curve on SR-18 westbound near milepost 2. The driver reported the steering wheel of the vehicle had locked up prior to crashing. The driver and passenger reported no injuries and were taken from the scene by another party. The driver of Unit1 reported they will make arraignments to recover the vehicle by 4/19/2022. The vehicle was marked with yellow caution tape.

LOG ONLY: On 4/19/22 a female was reported to have assaulted one person and attempted to assault another in the city of Yachats. The female was reported to have struck an additional person before returning to her residence where she reportedly attacked another individual. LCSO was able to detain the female and take her to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital for a Police Officer Hold. None of the people struck wished to press charges.
