Narrative Summary
Crash – Northbound vehicle near milepost 152 of US highway 101 slid on hail during a sudden hailstorm. Vehicle rotated and left the roadway on the southbound shoulder. Vehicle collided with a utility pole and came to an uncontrolled rest facing southwest. Driver reported no injuries. Construction workers nearby arranged for a tow through Rowley’s Towing. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

Narrative Summary
*eCrash report* On 4/4/2020 at approximately 6:36 PM OSP responded to a crash south of Yachats on Highway 101 mile post 167. A silver Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling south with one male driver and one female passenger. The driver drove the vehicle off the shoulder of the road while negotiating a curve. The car came to an uncontrolled rest five feet down the embankment. Both the driver and the passenger were uninjured. OSP arranged a tow, and the vehicle was taken to AA Rowley’s towing lot.

Narrative Summary
On 4/6/2020 at approximately 12:40 AM OSP initiated a traffic stop on a silver Mitsubishi Lancer on US-101 mile post 145 near the Newport Airport. The vehicle was traveling at a low rate of speed, and failing to maintain its lane. When contacted the driver displayed signs of impairment. In addition his driving privileges had been suspended. While observing and talking with the driver it was determined that he might need emergent medical care. Medics were called to the scene, to evaluate the driver. They determined he need to be transported to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport for further treatment. The car was towed by Coast Towing to their lot. OSP followed up with the driver at the Hospital, where he was currently being treated. The driver was cited for DWS, and OSP ended contact shortly after.
