E-Crash: A blue Ford Escape was being driven eastbound on US-20 when near MP 11.2 it had struck a fallen tree and then struck a guardrail on the eastbound shoulder. The driver was alone and was uninjured. The vehicle was towed by Coast Towing.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A Dodge Durango was being driven westbound on US-20 and near milepost 1 it came to a stop due to traffic extending from the SE Moore Drive traffic signal in Newport. A Mazda CX-5 was being driven behind the Durango and was unable to stop in time and crashed into the back of the Durango. The driver of the Durango was alone and was transported to the hospital in Newport with minor injuries. The driver of the Mazda was alone and uninjured. Both vehicles were removed from the road to allow traffic to move. The driver of the Mazda was making her own arrangements. During contact at the hospital with the owner of the Durango, Rowley’s Towing was requested to recover the vehicle for safekeeping.

Narrative Summary
Log Only: A blue Buick Enclave was being driven westbound on US-20 and near milepost 1 had stopped for stopped traffic in the road. A white Land Rover SUV was following to the rear of the Buick and did not stop in time before minor contact was made between the two vehicles. The driver of the Land Rover continued westbound and shortly later was contacted by Law Enforcement. No initial damage was observed during a cursory look but during a follow-up viewing of the Land Rover minor scrape marks were observed on the front right portion of the Land Rover. The scrapes observed match the damage to the back left portion of the Buick. The driver of the Land Rover was issued a citation for driving while suspended violation and for not having insurance.
