On 6/17/22 a silver Nissan Altima was stopped for a traffic violation on US 101 near milepost 117 in Lincoln City. After an investigation the driver was arrested for DUII. The driver was taken to the Lincoln City Police Department where a BAC of .06% was collected. The results were consistent to what was observed and the driver was cited and released for DUII – Alcohol. The vehicle was 780 impound by Car Care Tow. Lincoln City Police Department provided assistance.

**E-Crash** On 06/19/22 A black Mazda hatchback was attempting to turn from east bound Highway 18 into the drive way of a residence near mile post 4. A white Acura sedan was traveling east bound on highway 18 and did not stop for the Mazda. The Acura struck the Mazda in a rear end manner crash. The driver of the Mazda was transported to North Lincoln Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The occupants of the Acura were treated at the scene for minor injuries sustained in the crash.

**E-Crash** On 06/20/22, a black ford focus was traveling west on highway 20 near mile post 19. The vehicles front driver’s side tire came off of the vehicle and began traveling down the highway before striking a guardrail on the south side of the highway. The tire then bounced off of the guardrail and into the east bound lane of travel where a white toyota rav 4 collided with the tire. Both drivers were uninjured. Both vehicles required to be towed by Rowleys towing.

A few dogs were off leash at the Devil’s Punch Bowl and approached a man who had two dogs on leashes which was the catalyst for an argument. Both parties went their separate ways but an owner of one of the off leash dogs confronted the initial man about how he had spoken to her friend and another argument ensued. The party who had initially allowed the dogs to be off leash had been issued a violation citation for dogs at large at a state park. A report will be sent to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s office for consideration of charges for the other two parties.

The Victim started yelling for help and that’s when another nearby camper called police. Upon arrival the suspect had left the scene and the victim was down by the ranger station. The victim was given a case number and was advised to call police if the suspect was seen again. Items belonging to the suspect were collected and placed into evidence.

E-Crash: A vehicle was traveling westbound on SR-18 when, for unknown reasons, the driver drifted off the roadway and stuck a guardrail. A witness said it appeared the driver was having a seizure and lost consciousness. The driver was transported to the hospital prior to OSP arriving on scene. An attempt to contact the driver at the hospital was made, but unsuccessful, as the driver was unconscious and possibly suffering from seizures. The vehicle was towed due to being a hazard and damaged by Car Care Tow Pro. North Lincoln Fire and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.

eCrash – On 06/23/2022 at approximately 4:44pm a single vehicle (BLACK GMC SUV) was traveling westbound on highway 18 when it swerved over towards the fog line, avoiding a head on crash from a car passing another vehicle which was headed eastbound. The vehicle lost control causing it to crash into the ditch and then overturning causing the westbound lane to be closed to all traffic. The vehicle was occupied by two adults and a minor. No one suffered any injuries and the vehicle was towed due to heavy damage.
