DEPOE BAY – A man found dead in the Depoe Bay harbor last October has been identified as Duncan Grundman, 31, of Boulder, Colo., the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.
In a news release, the sheriff’s office said deputies were able to track his identity through a vehicle abandoned at a nearby gas station, relatives in Maryland, linking a pair of prescription glasses to social media photos, and cell phone photos of his identification.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office provided information in which Duncan’s roommates found a note from Duncan a week before his vehicle was reported as abandoned at the gas station, the news release said. The note indicated Duncan may harm himself.
In its news release, the sheriff’s office asked anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts to contact the National Suicide Hotline at 988 or Lincoln County non-emergency dispatch at 541-265-0777 or call 9-1-1.
