Lincoln County School District Superintendent Karen Gray has scheduled nine online “listening” sessions with district employees and the public to hear comments about what went well and not-so-well with schools during the last 12 months under coronavirus restrictions.

The district went to on-line only instruction last March when Gov. Kate Brown ordered schools closed, then reopened elementary schools to children in the fall under a “hybrid” model of instruction. The district has slowly brought older students back into schools two days a week, and is planning to bring back high school students Monday, April 12.

The district offered no details on what exactly it is looking for, but that Gray “would like to hear feedback about what we have done this year during Covid that we should continue doing into the 2021-22 School year.”

The listening sessions are split between staff and the public. Staff will receive the Zoom link via district email.
