Four nonprofit organizations in Lincoln County have been awarded a total of $68,000 in operating grants, the Oregon Community Foundation announced Monday.
In all, the statewide foundation it awarded $4.77 million to 252 organizations throughout Oregon’s 36 counties.
The operating funds are from the foundation’s community grants program, which it said this spring prioritized three categories of organizations — those serving small, rural communities, and those that are either culturally specific or culturally responsive.
The four Lincoln County organizations receiving grants were: Arcoiris Cultural of Newport, $20,000; Homie House of Newport, $10,000; the ARC of Lincoln County, Toledo, $20,000; and Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program, $18,000.
