WALDPORT – Jaime White, who had worked the past two years as the city planner in Depoe Bay, is the new planner for the city of Waldport.
White began Jan. 18, replacing Holly Hamilton, who resigned in December.
White had worked as the planner in Depoe Bay since January 2020. He came to Depoe Bay from Salt Lake City where he worked five years for AECOM, an infrastructure consulting firm. From 2007-15 he was the manager of the Salt Lake City environmental/planning group for Parsons Brinckerhoff, another engineering and planning company. White has a degree in engineering from the University of Utah.
The planner’s office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Waldport City Hall.
