LINCOLN CITY – The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles has hired enough staff to reopen its office in Lincoln City for three days a week beginning Tuesday, June 30.
The two-person office at 4422 N.E. Devils Lake Blvd, Suite 1, has been closed since April 20 because of low staffing.
Starting Tuesday, June 30, the Lincoln City office will resume regular hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays. The office is closed from noon to 1:30 p.m. those days for lunch.
The office does not offer Class C drive tests and the agency suggested using a third-party tester in Newport. It also said many of the services available at the office are available online at DMV2U, which offers over 30 transactions 24-hours-a-day.

If you are over 65 you will need to make an appointment to appear for an eye test when renewing your Drivers License.
