The Central Coast Chorale is looking for a few people who want to sing.
Chorale artistic director Rhodd Caldwell is scheduling private, individual auditions for Wednesday, Aug, 24 or Saturday, Aug, 27 at First Presbyterian Church of Newport, 227 N.E. 12th St.
“This is the sort of activity you’ve been missing for the past three years,” says Caldwell. “We’re creating beautiful music within a wonderful sense of community.”
Singers can schedule their auditions from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday or from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.
Rehearsals begin Sept. 6 and run 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the church.
The rehearsals are in preparation for our winter concert series “Winter Wonder” which is scheduled Dec. 16-18. All singers must show proof of Covid-19 vaccinations. Masks are optional.
