ecrash only: A two-vehicle non-injury crash occurred on US-20 near milepost 5 when a westbound 2018 Toyota Tacoma stopped for traffic and was rear ended by a westbound 2009 Toyota Prius. The Prius ended up nosed into a ditch and was towed by Rowley’s Towing. The driver of the Prius was issued a citation for careless driving.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A Chevrolet utility van was stopped at Hillcrest Street and US-101. There was southbound traffic on US-101 and one vehicle began taking a right turn onto Hillcrest Street. The driver of the Chevrolet began taking a left turn onto US-101 without seeing the Subaru Forester traveling southbound behind the vehicle pulling off. The Chevrolet and the Subaru hit each other immediately. The Subaru began to catch fire which burnt most of the Subaru and part of the Chevrolet. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to the hospital in Lincoln City with a head injury. The two occupants of the Subaru were reported to have had no injuries. Car Care Towing removed both vehicles. Depoe Bay Fire Department and ODOT Incident Response assisted on-scene.
