Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A Volkswagen Jetta was being driven eastbound on SR-18. While negotiating the curves just east of milepost 3 the driver of the Volkswagen went off the eastbound shoulder and struck and broken an ODOT sign. The Jetta received some minor damage and a tow was arranged through the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office who assisted on-scene while waiting for the tow.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A crash was reported to the Oregon State Police where the driver of a semi-truck driver had not pulled over after crashing into the back of a sedan. OSP received the call and located the semi-truck with the rear-ended sedan following. OSP took a crash report and the driver of the semi-truck was issued a citation for following too closely. The semi-truck had reportedly drove into the back of the sedan twice near the merging lane of US-101 at MP 128, where the lanes merge leaving southbound from Depoe Bay.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A Chevrolet Tahoe was being driven northbound coming into Seal Rock. Witnesses described the Tahoe was traveling too fast where the driver had to swerve to the right to miss rear-ending the vehicle in front but then crashed into the side of a parked Subaru and then continued into the side of Luna Sea Restaurant. The driver and passenger of the Tahoe were transported to the hospital in Newport for treatment. The Subaru was unoccupied. No one inside the restaurant was injured by the vehicle’s protrusion. The driver was issued a citation for Careless Driving. The Tahoe was towed by Rowley’s Towing. Two dogs inside the Tahoe were taken into the care of Lincoln County Animal Control. OSP secured a handgun for the passenger which was given back to the owner the following day.

Narrative Summary
Two thefts occurred from two vehicles just south of Yachats around 7 am. A description of the vehicle was given and located by the Oregon State Police. The driver was found to be in possession of a firearm and had concealed the firearm. The driver also had items stolen from both vehicles. The driver also had brass knuckles concealed on the door. The driver was a felon. The driver was cited in lieu of custody for the crimes.
