Narrative Summary
eCrash – On 3/12/21 at approximately 1:50PM a southbound vehicle overtook vehicles on Cape Foulweather, near milepost 131 of US Highway 101. Subject vehicle, a white Ford Mustang, sideswiped another unit 2 red Dodge and continued south. Vehicle went out of control, onto the southbound shoulder, overcorrected and slid through the northbound lanes prior to leaving the southbound shoulder and striking a tree head-on. The force dislodged the large tree. The tree came down and landed on the roof of the vehicle. Vehicle came to rest facing northwest in the ditch. Male driver and female passenger suffered injuries and were transported to the local hospital prior to being air transported to a hospital in Portland, Oregon. ODOT, Depoe Bay Fire and Pac West ambulance assisted at the scene. Vehicle was removed by Coast Towing.

Narrative Summary
E-Crash: A small Toyota sedan was being driven northbound on US-101 and had begun taking the exit to SR-18 eastbound. The driver went off the right-hand shoulder and the vehicle rolled onto it’s top. The driver was alone and got out on his own. The vehicle was towed by Car Care Towing. The driver was transported to the hospital in Lincoln City and had minor injuries. The driver was warned for failing to drive in his lane.

Narrative Summary
ecrash only: A three-vehicle non-injury crash occurred on US-20 in the westbound lane near milepost 28.80 when Unit #3, a 2005 Ford Focus was stopped to turn left onto Goat Ridge Rd. Unit #1, a 2020 GMC Terrain traveling westbound was unable to stop and rear-ended Unit #2, a 2015 Toyota Corolla also traveling westbound between Units #1 & # 3, pushing it into Unit #3. Units #1 & 2 were towed from the scene due to extensive damage. The operator and passengers of Units # 1 & 2 were transported from the scene by police. The operator of Unit #1 was issued a citation for careless driving.

***E-CRASH*** On 03/14/21 at approximately 9:00 am, a single-vehicle crash occurred on SR-229 around milepost 5. Southbound Vehicle #1 (white Suburban) drove over the fogline, shoulder and down the embankment before coming to rest against trees on the west side of the roadway. Operator was uninjured not on scene as OSP arrived. OSP made contact with the driver on the morning of 03/16/21 and provided tow and DMV details.
