Narrative Summary
(ecrash) On 1/12/21 at approximately 4:40 am I was dispatched to a single vehicle crash which occurred on US 101 near mile post 166. Unit #1, a gray Dodge Dakota (ZHN083), was northbound, negotiating a curve in stormy weather, when the vehicle drove off the northbound shoulder into the ditch. The vehicle broke its front axle and came to an uncontrolled rest blocking the northbound lane. The driver was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Florence RV.

Narrative Summary
On 1/12/21 at approximately 9:48 pm I was dispatched to a single vehicle crash which occurred on US 20 near mile post 33. I located an abandoned silver Honda (YXM593) crashed into a fence and utility pole at the reported location. The vehicle had been eastbound at the time of the crash. I located the driver and passenger in the immediate area. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to recently drinking alcohol. The driver consented to a performed poorly on SFST’s. He was taken into custody and transported to Lincoln County Jail where he consented to a breath test rendering a result of .09% BAC. The driver was cited and released on charges of DUII, Reckless Driving and Recklessly Endangering his passenger. Newport Police Department and Toledo Fire Department assisted at the scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Coast Towing.
