Narrative Summary
On 6/12/2020 an ODFW Fish Sampler contacted a vessel returning to Depoe Bay Marina with Cabezon marine fish on board. Cabezon retention is closed from January 1st through June 30th per ODFW Ocean Regulations. An OSP Fish and Wildlife Trooper contacted the subject and seized two Cabezon marine fish and later donated them to charity. The subject was cited for the listed charge.

Narrative Summary
On 06/12/2020 at approximately 17:08 PM, an ODOT Incident Response worker reported a possible DUII driver eastbound on US Highway 34 near Canal Creek Road. An OSP Trooper in the area followed the vehicle and observed lane use violations. A stop was initiated, however the vehicle continued approximately 1.5 miles to the registered owner’s address in Tidewater. The driver was contacted and showed signs of impairment. He consented to and performed poorly on SFST’s. The driver was taken into custody for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. The driver provided a breath test showing a BAC of 0.10 percent. He was later transported to his residence and cited and released.

Narrative Summary
On 6/13/2020 at approximately 1:15am, an OSP Fish and Wildlife Trooper received information about a subject retaining numerous female and undersized Dungeness crab from Alsea Bay in Waldport. The subject was contacted and was found to be in possession of fifty-three Dungeness crab, of which fifteen were female Dungeness crab and thirty-eight were undersized male Dungeness crab. The Trooper recognized the subject from a previous enforcement contact where the same offenses were discovered. The subject’s three crab rings were seized as evidence and the subject was cited for the listed charge. The illegal Dungeness crab were returned to Alsea Bay unharmed.

Log Only: The Oregon State Police assisted Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office who responded to the Gleneden Beach area just south of Salishan to the report of 2 active burglaries. The attached male was arrested by Lincoln County. LCSO has probably cause for burglary for the attached female who fled on foot in the area. She was described as having red dreadlocks, two sweatshirts (one blue & black), and was over all smaller in stature. The attached vehicle was towed.

Narrative Summary
Oregon State Police responded to a crash that Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office had located on US-101 near milepost 124 northbound. The crash was between two northbound travelling vehicles where Unit #1 (silver Kia Sportage) crashed into the rear of Unit #2 (white Ford truck). During my contact with the driver of the Kia I observed signs of impairment. The driver performed voluntary field sobriety tests where I continued to observe signs of impairment. The driver was arrested for DUII and provided a breath sample indicating a 0.00% BAC. The driver produced a voluntary urine sample. The driver consented to a DRE evaluation with Lincoln City PD Officer Liden.

Narrative Summary
E-crash: A red 2015 Chrysler sedan was traveling eastbound where the vehicle was driven into the guardrail on the eastbound shoulder near milepost 30 on US-20. The driver was alone and was issued a citation for failing to drive within her lane. The driver was picked up by her mother and the vehicle was removed by AA Rowley’s to their tow lot. ODOT Incident Response helped with traffic control. Passerby’s and local residence assisted the Oregon State Police and ODOT by placing traffic control warning triangles out prior to the collision location and used flashlights to slow and flag traffic.
