USGS records five earthquakes 200 miles west of Bandon early Thursday
Several moderate earthquakes struck off the Oregon coast west of Bandon early Thursday morning. Starting around 3:30 a.m., at least five quakes, ranging in magnitude from 4.4 to 5.3, hit in the same area about 180 miles off the coast, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. There were no reports of damage from any of the quakes and no tsunami
